Question / Help Audio Issues

Howdy there,
I do apologize if this is a simple fix that i have over looked but my trouble shooting and research has yielded no success. I have used OBS for quite some time and don't consider myself a noob but im defiantly not a pro streamer or anything. I have just download and played around with OBS multiplatform for the first time today. It feels very similar and a nice transition from the old.

THE PROBLEM:
-I cannot get OBS MP to record my audio. I believe i understand how the new multiple audio tracks work and i have picked through ever settings page and tab. Both game/desktop audio and mic audio will not record. I see the green bar bouncing with activity so i know OBS see it.
-How i have tested this: 1) I will open in a video player and see/change the different audio tracks but no sound is played. I open my volume mixer on the desktop and see the application and no audio activity is shown. 2) I import the video file into Sony Vegas as i always do and only a video file is there. No audio tracks at all show in Sony Vegas for editing.
-I always record in MP4 for ease of editing. But i tested recording in all the other file formats except flv, and the file format "ts" was the only one that had any audio. This file type is unable to be imported into Sony Vegas for further examination.
-I tested streaming on Twitch and audio seemed to be working perfectly fine. But as i recorded during the stream, the saved file did not have any trace of audio.

Thanks for anyone who has read through all that and thanks if you have the answer.

Yeah, I came hear to find the solution... I had it working before the latest update... now, can't get it to work...

For SV I had to make sure audio was in AAC not MP3 format, but still only 1 track now, used to be 2.
