Audio issues.

Hi, I recently downloaded OBS intending to use it to record games but during some of my test recording sessions, I found that the audio in the recording isn't synced between what's happening and the sound that should be made.

Basically, the audio recording seems to be going faster then the video recording (even though both are from the game) and even seems to fold over itself and produces static at times.

I'm not really the most literate when it comes to things like this, so I have no idea what I can do here.

Thanks in advance.

This is probably not a real problem, but rather a typical phenomenon that occurs in certain streaming setups. The cause is classical physics, which occurs when video and audio are recorded separately and not on the same device. Unfortunately, this can only be remedied by using a defined time delay to ensure that the audio and video are synchronized. There are different options and preferences for synchronizing this, for example, directly during recording or later in post-production.

If you need more infos or help than tell me more about your setup. ;)
