Question / Help Audio Issues

I just bought a Logitech C615 webcam for improved audio and visual when doing Let's Plays. I even lowered the volume on the computer so the sound wouldn't drown out the commentary. I set up Noise Gate, Noise Supression, Gain for the audio filters, but for some reason whenever a second person is joining me they can BARELY be heard at all.

What's going on and how do I fix it? Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Update: We kinda fixed the audio issue but now my voice sounds static-ish.

As a general rule, don't ever use webcam audio. No amount of software algorithms can fix the fundamental problem of acoustics it has.

Oh...well I know the webcam has a microphone built in and I read something somewhere about how having a built-in mic and an external mic can cause the same kind of feedback. Is there a way to turn off the webcam's microphone so I can use the one in my laptop until I can get a Blue Snowball?

You really just need to not select it as a microphone in OBS. There's no kind of feedback you would experience, just possibly a reverb effect if you accidentally include it with another mic. But if you want to disable it across the board, then do this:

Pull up the sounds settings in windows (right-click on your speaker icon in your taskbar, go to Sounds), click the Recording tab, then right-click on your webcam and select "Disable". This will prevent any application from using the webcam's audio.
