Audio issues with the m1 mac.

Hi everyone, a friend of mine has a M1 Mac, he has obs on it. The problem is the audio sounds like when you the noise suppression filter. We tried to solve the issue today but no luck. Anyone else had this issue.
Also we downloaded wirecast and the audio was fine. He has Mac Os Sonama, OBS version is the latest.

Do you have any more info on the setup? Is the issue there both when streaming and recording?

Sometimes people are tripped up by certain streaming platforms wanting 44khz but recieving 48 from OBS with some glitchy audio results.
