Question / Help Audio issues while recording

Hey y'all, I recently got a new capture card to record (not stream) some game play footage from my Xbox. I don't really seem to have any problems with video, but my audio continues to clip or just cut out at what seems like regular intervals.
I've searched the forums for similar problems but I'm not really finding any solutions. Any help is much appreciated!

You know, upon further inspection, I think my capture card may be bunk.
If anyone sees anything in my log saying otherwise, I'm curious, but I'm not sold on the quality of this card.
