Question / Help Audio issues using OBS for Facebook live stream

I have my Canon 5D linked up to my Mac for a Facebook live stream using OBS and am having audio issues. The audio is being recorded on an external mic that is plugged into the camera, and the audio sounds perfect when I listen on headphones plugged into the camera. However, when the Facebook live stream plays, the audio appears to be either the internal audio from the camera (which should be automatically disabled with an external mic plugged in) or perhaps from the Macbook. I can't figure out why the audio isn't playing what is being recorded by the external mic. Can anyone help? Thx
