Question / Help Audio issues recording to .mov or .mp4

New Member
New to this and need some help.
I am making an attempt to transfer analog (old VCR tapes) to .mov or .mp4 on my laptop.
Video works fine but I cannot get the sound to function.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
