Hello!
I'm trying to setup a stream to Facebook using OBS for an event I'm gonna be hosting end of May, I have a blackmagic mini recorder that has all the video and audio going through it. I managed to get the video to stream well enough, but the audio was not streaming at all with the blackmagic audio device it detected/added automatically. The default BlackMagic device was detecting audio, but not streaming that. I went into the settings to add the recorder as an auxiliary mic. This mic was not detecting any audio, for the most part.
When I changed the video to be my BM UltraStudio, which only shows propresenter slides, which is not what I need to stream, video and audio goes black, which is to be expected. However, when I switch back to the recorder, the computer detects and streams the proper audio for no more than 10 seconds and then again loses it. The audio was coming in through the auxiliary BlackMagic mic I'd set up.
The thunderbolt of the mini recorder was going into a port on the UltraStudio device, which I was using as a kind of extender. Today I'm gonna try plugging directly into my Mac, see if that helps, but if anyone else has faced this kind of issue, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
