I'm getting intermittent audio pops via capture card that sound like the same sound you hear when a sample rate changes, i ONLY hear it when i "Listen to this device" via windows and if i listen to the audio via OBS i don't hear it at all, now the problem is, my setup is PS5 > 4K60 Pro > Passthrough to my main monitor > input into 4k60 pro itself, if i listen to the audio via OBS and i play via the passthrough, i get audio desync (which is obvious, OBS is never going to give me Passthrough latency audio/video) so that's unplayable.
Now if i mute OBS audio and then go into windows > recording > find my capture card and enable "Listen to this device" i get perfect sync'd audio but i get a loud pop every 10-15 minutes (This happens outside of software, OBS, 4K Capture etc)
What the hell is OBS doing differently here than windows??
I've tested 2 USB capture cards (HD60 X)
PCI capture card (4K60 Pro mk2)
The worst is i cannot find any other person with this issue lmao, and i imagine this way of doing things (Listening to the capture card via windows) is a very standard practice? since how else would you be able to listen to your PC + Console while you stream?
