Question / Help Audio Is Not Working

When recording it shows that my audio is being detected, but when I watch the video it has no audio! I've tried messing with all the settings and changing the recording format (Which I DO NOT want to do) and nothing works. I even tried making a video with only "audio input", with a hundred different setting combinations it still does not work.

Please help. If its working for you then list the settings your using!​

Are you using Windows Media Player? If so you need to try VLC which is a free download. Windows doesn't include the required codec to play back the audio stream, VLC does.

You were right! I opened it up in Premiere and the audio works. What would you say is the best program to review videos, so I don't have to load up Premiere every time I watch a video? Preferably a player that will show the true resolution.
