Question / Help Audio Input

I'm trying to stream with sound from my computer, (music and Skype, mainly Skype), and when I choose default for desktop audio, nothing comes through so I end up having to reroute my audio through Soundflower but then I have to open up a DAW in order to hear my Skype or music, but then my stream is laggy video wise because my computer is doing too much at that point. Any suggestions?

I suggest you try Audio Hijack to make routings of your audio sources to your audio destinations. It will let you create routings to SoundFlower if you use that as the input for OBS, but also a second one to your headset for example.
