Question / Help Audio in monitor then it disappears

Hello all-

I am trying to stream video from an external camera by way of the black magic design intensity shuttle. I am using OBS 24.0.2 on a Mac.

Everything goes swimmingly for a little while then after about 20 mins or so I lose audio and no longer see levels in the audio mixer window. Any insight?

I can get audio again by going to properties and toggling audio from embedded to analogue back to embedded. I've attached some recent logs.

Thanks!

Add the Intensity Shuttle as an ordinary video capture device, not a Blackmagic device. That source type is for Decklink cards.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried that. I added audio from the intensity as an audio input but it too eventually disappeared.

If you've added the same device twice (once as audio and video, once as audio) that may also be problematic. Most video capture device drivers are exclusive-- they can only be open in one instance in one program.

If you add a video capture device it should capture both audio and video to your scene simultaneously. It is not necessary to add it separately as a video device and as an audio device.
