I've connected both my devices. I have the Desktop Audio device connected as well as the microphone connected, both of which are picking up sound on the mixer. But when I decide to record, no audio is being played, yet the mixer is showing that audio is being picked up. None of the devices are muted.
Question / Help Audio Help recognition.

are you sure you have the latest obs 0.13.1, NOT -rc ?
I am sure that i have the latest obs software. The software recognizes that it is picking up sound, so i see the green bar on the mixer flunxuating as diffrent sounds are being picked up, but as soo as i hit that record button, it doesnt pick up anything. There is no audio being picked up. I have it MP4 mode.

Are you listening to the recording with Windows media player? If so you won't be able to hear any audio as media player does not have the correct codec support. Try watching the video with VLC (free download) and see if that helps.
