Audio from capture card fading into static

I bought a better capture card to capture N64 gameplay and audio, but im have the same problem as my last one. As I am playing the game, and showing the audio and video, the game sounds slowly fade out over a time of minutes until its just predominately static, with very faint game audio. I've had this problem across two capture cards, but its still here. Im not an audio guy, if it wasn't obvious already. any help please? https://obsproject.com/logs/22hrEE4na1qiLMSU

As an update, I have tried this with my Wii and the audio is fine. The only difference here is that i'm not using the N64 or the AV to HDMI converter. There's obviously a lot more in the specific audio setting in OBS I have no clue how to use, but there's that as well.

anything wrong with the card ?????
What do you mean buffer, and where do I find it to disable it? The capture card is brand new from amazon. a $40 4k capture card.

If your your talking about the auto detect buffering in the properties of the capture card, I switched it to disable and the game audio is still very faint with overbearing static.
