I have a problem with local recordings.
- I'm recording the files in Simple mode.
- This is because something in the Advanced mode makes the video output laggy (to both stream and local recording).
- I think it's the recording quality which I can in Simple mode just set "Same as stream".
- Simple mode doesn't let you change the audio format to something like AAC.
- The videos recorded in Simple mode don't have audio in Sony Vegas.
What would be the easiest solution to this? In simple mode there's no lag in any of the video outputs. I'd like to just use the advanced mode but it's too much of a time sink to figure out the settings. I just want to fire it up and go. But I want the recordings to have editable audio. VLC plays the (I'm guessing mp3) audio just fine.
