Question / Help Audio Files Sometimes Won't Stream

Hey y'all! I have a strange problem that I can't reliably reproduce, but it happens often enough to be a problem.

As a part of my stream, I often play audio files stored in a folder on my computer. I set up these files as a Media Source in OBS, and I set them to Monitor and Output in the Advanced Audio Properties so that I can hear the music myself while streaming it.

The problem is, sometimes the music just isn't present in my outputs, both recorded and livestream. I hear the music in my headphones, but my viewers hear no music at all, and the music isn't present in my recording. The audio appears in the mixer and the green bar moves in time with the music. Everything visible/audible to me tells me the song is playing, but my audience hears nothing.

The issue is not limited to specific files. I've had identical music files play successfully one week and not play the next week.

Is this a known issue, or something others have experienced?

I've included a log file of the problem (both "Run, Sally, Run!" and "Closer" failed to output to the stream/recording), and I can provide a video clip of the issue, if that would help.

If any other information would be helpful, please let me know. Thank you!

I have experienced this same issue when using a media source. I often bring in media sources to stream videos (with audio). I will be able to hear their audio and see the green bar moving in OBS, yet the audio will not be heard on the viewer end. I too have not been able to replicate this issue very easily, I have noticed that it may somehow have to do reloading and or switching between my saved scene collections?
