Audio feedback

What I am wanting to do seems very simple I want two scenes one with the Elgato capture card only and one with a second camera. I want both scenes to record audio from ONE device.

When I start recording the software goes into audio feedback over drive even if I set EVERY audio input device off!

If I want to watch a clip I have to close OBS because as soon as I turn on the audio to listen it goes into over drive feedback.

If I do the same with the computer screen (through screen capture) and the webcam I have no issues.

OK. I have actually disabled ALL audio input devices in control panel and I am STILL getting the audio feedback!

I am feeding a Canon M6 mk2 into an Elgato 4Kpro mk1 PCI-E card and using a RODE wireless transmitter/receiver.

If I record directly to the camera the audio is fine.

I really wanted to get a video out today but can't even do the intro :(

I've just set my headphones as the only output and the Fast Track as the only input. This then feeds back through the headphones. The sound can't physically be going from one to the other so this must be taking feeding back through software! The output sound is being mixed with the input internally!!!

If I shut OBS down and wear the headphones it doesn't feedback at all and works as expected.
