Audio failure mid-stream across all inputs

I use OBS to stream my church's worship services and have been doing so with only minor issues since the start of the pandemic. This morning however all audio input sources failed but only after having worked for the first 20 minutes or so. At the point of failure there was no change made to the hardware we use or to OBS itself, I only noticed when the comments started coming in from our parishioners.

We recently experienced a similar problem where the audio capture from our camera failed but I switched to the mic on our laptop. The quality wasn't great but the audio did come through, so I assumed it was an issue with the camera. When the same thing appeared to happen today I set up a new audio capture from the laptop mic but it didn't work either.

I've looked through a few previous posts on here regarding similar problems but they all seemed to be rooted in users setting their audio input to 'default' rather than a specific device. In my case it didn't matter what device (or default) I set it to, nothing worked.

I had to stop the stream and restart OBS, which solved the problem but by that point half of our congregation had assumed it wasn't coming back and left.

Could anyone help identify the problem and suggest a solution?

Log files attached, wherein you'll see my panicked attempts at adding new audio inputs over and over in the hope that they'd start working!

Sorry to bump this but I'm looking to identify a solution ahead of this weekend. Our backup plan is to pre-record and broadcast as live but it involves the minister and I getting up two hours earlier than planned, so we're keen to avoid it!

Remote diagnoses are hard. Same ideas what you can do:
- If everything works fine at the begining of the year, mybe a windows update changed your system.
- Test your stream via your streaming platform during broadcast. If it is not working you can post to your viewers.
- Have a backup plan for your stream. A good audio quality is more important than video. Setup a Szene in OBS with audio only and a picture (Logo). As input i would recomand a capture device where you get the audio directly form the mixer.

I need more informations about your setup.
- What kind of camera?
- Where is the audio conneced to?
- How is camera connected to the pc?
- Do you use wifi or Lan as networkconnection?

I have the same problem, every time I have to check the audio before starting the transmission, if pricking I have to restart OBS, since the old version, sometimes the problem appears, I also test a notebook on two computers, the problem happens , it's not always, but when it happens I have to close the obs and open it again to fix it, when I monitor the audio locally there are no problems, the problem only happens in the live stream, I checked the data integrity on YouTube and Facebook, the data arrives ok no problems, it seems to me a problem when coding in the obs ffmpeg, when it's in trouble i can save the video is the problem in the audio is in the recording, restarting it resolves for min, i also need help !!!!!!

I'm having a similar problem, receiving an rtmp input from a 4G encoder. It seems to be if the encoder has connectivity issues in connecting to our server, and drops in and out, then the video recovers, audio input recovers, but there is no audio in the streaming output. So far we found only an OBS restart fixes it.. Sounds like a serious bug in OBS to me.
