Hey, so I’m using OBS on my pc to record my party chat via the Xbox app for windows. My audio via my snowball mic sounds fine, but my friend’s echoed the entire time when I played back the recording. I’m guessing it has something to do with me using my Sony Bravia as my monitor via hdmi & also as the audio output. Any suggestions to get rid of the echo? Thanks

If you're sending chat output to a TV in the same room as your microphone, then yeah, chances are you'll get some echo.
You could also get echo by sending Monitor output to a device you're capturing, so check Settings > Audio for where your monitor output goes, and Edit > Advanced Audio Properties for which devices are set to monitor.

Thanks, yeah my tv and mic are in the same room. I’ll play around with the settings & see if I can fix anything
