Question / Help Audio echo while using Logitech Headphones

Just posting this in case anyone else has had this issue, I've googled around and saw no solutions, but I did notice someone else having the same problem only with the G35 headset.

If your desktop audio sounds like it's in a tunnel and/or very echo-ey stop using your headphones as OBS's desktop audio source. Something weird is happening where the logitech software is passing the processed sound mix into OBS. I've tested this and found this problem is completely resolved when switching to my speakers or any other non-Logitech audio device. I have fiddled around with all of the settings in the logitech gaming software and could not come up with a solution that would allow the use of the logitech headphones without the stream audio issues. The only workaround I have come up with is to use your stereo mix and select the G930s as the "listen to this device" option.

Sorry if this is a jumbled mess, this audio issue was frustrating the heck out of me until I narrowed down the problem. If anyone has any solutions/suggestions that are better than the ones I've presented, I'm all ears.

Current build of the Studio outputs in stereo (this is max). If you want to listen multi-channel surround sound and output it to the stereo... then I don't know. Maybe you don't need surround at all? Install only driver for USB headset and config PC to use 2.0 sound system.

I have a G633 gaming headset with 7.1 surround sound, I listen the game sound from the G633 has the nice surround quality

but to output to the OBS and stream on the twitch, it will output in to stereo, this will make stream sound like in a tunnel,

so I am wondering to know does there any setting to solve this problem :(

Try to use device as stereo in Windows.

From what I've been researching, it is very hard to find a solution to record multiple channels directly without special hardware or drivers. I recently encountered this through the Audacity Wiki for dealing with multi-channel recording. However, I think a truly working HRTF solution would help solve that problem. Heck, there are YouTube videos that are supposed to take advantage of that.
