Question / Help Audio does not record.

I have repeatedly tried to get this program to record through my firewire audio, but even though it recognizes the device, it has no levels and does not record. I might be able to do it with the onboard mic, but that is so noisy it defeats the purpose. I have looked at the forums, tried the manual.. etc, and no joy. Its a good thing I have alternatives. But before I trash the program and move on, I thought I'd post and see if anyone can help.

Thanks

I've read other complaints about Firewire audio having problems with OBS, but I don't have any to test myself.

The only workaround that comes to mind would be installing one of the programs used to create virtual audio channels (SoundFlower, iShowU, LoopBack) and including or forwarding audio from the FW device and then seeing if OBS can see that.

Other than that hard to comment without a log.

Not sure how to create a log. I have already two other alternatives that work. Soundflower has been incompatible with my current OS, haven't tried the others. Thanks tho.
