I am using OBS to broadcast a livestream and have made several short videos to call as media sources throughout my show in .mp4 format. From time to time the audio cuts out completely but the videos play fine. I made some recordings in OBS to see if it was just a playback issue but the rendered file is the same. No audio. The strange thing is, in time, say a couple of hours, the audio just comes back on again. I can only imagine there is some kind of conflict on my computer. I'm using an RME UCX interface and a brand new custom built recording studio PC so I'm not short of speed/ram etc. I thought it might be the .mp4 format but have tried calling others such as .wmv and the same thing happens. It's concerning as I can't broadcast not knowing how to fix this issue when it happens. fyi all other audio programs are off when I'm using OBS so there are no port sharing issues. Any help appreciated.
