Audio Crackling When Monitored

I have an issue where any audio that is monitored in OBS has slight random crackling in it. I use Lioranboard to add sound effects to channel point redeems during stream. I set these sound files as media sources and use Lioranboard to toggle the visibility on and off to play them. I also have them monitored (with muted output) and stream the monitored audio so everyone (including myself) can hear them. The problem is when the audio plays, it causes random little crackles/pops that everyone can hear. I have done test recordings and discovered that this audio issue is only in the monitored audio. If I turn off monitoring, the audio recorded/streamed does not have the issue. This could fix the problem, but without monitoring I can't hear the audio while recording/streaming. Again, any audio that is monitored so I can hear it (media sources, alerts, etc) has this random issue. If I have to, I can set everything to monitor and output and just not stream the monitor audio source. That way everyone can hear the audio without the issue, and I would still be able to hear it (with the issue but not a big deal). It would be nice, however, if anyone knew a fix for this so I could keep the setup a little more simple.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that I installed a fresh copy of OBS on my laptop and tested it. The monitored audio had the same random issue as my PC does.
