Question / Help Audio Clipping and Noise Gate Help!

Hello. I am a youtuber that records Let's Plays using OBS studio (latest version) and I use a Blue Snowball Mic.
when I record I get extreme clipping on my audio (as well as a delay between voice and video of me) that happens even when I talk at normal levels. I have tried using the noise gate feature, but I does not work regardless of the settings I use.
here is an example of the error:

My computer recognizes the mic and so does OBS, but I still get this clipping. Please! How do I solve this issue?
I can find no help via internet searches as all of them point to the noise gate that, as I said, is ineffectual.
Please Help me.

Noise gate does not operate at a level where it would affect clipping.

Turn the pickup on the mic down.

What is my problem then? I turned the gain all the way down and still I get the issues as heard in the link.
What can I do?

Then maybe clipping not what's wrong. I turned the gain to -98 db and IT STILL HAPPENS.
The gain isn't changing anything. I am sorry, but it isnt.

People already told you that clipping only happens when it is set too loud, so somewhere in your audio chain you hit 0dB and then clipping happens.
Without information we CANT help you.

We dont know what you use, what settings you have selected and where. Remember that audio is not just a finished signal, it has multiple stages where sound is processed and changed, so clipping can occur on the hardware level or in the software if you overdrive the input or the output.

If you really want someone to help you - provide all the details so we can actually find the issue.

Ok i found what it was for me its when you have Noise Supression on . When the mic kicks on it will clip if i even raise my voice slightly. It doesnt do that nor does it make that odd clipping vibration noise when i turn off the noise suppression.
