I'm trying to use my headset with xbox while outputting audio to my PC speakers. When I do this, I have to set the headphones to the default device and this disables audio capture from my console to OBS. Outputting audio from the video capture device to Desktop and selecting my HyperX headset as the default device mutes the audio in OBS.
My problem and question here is because sometimes the audio does capture anyways in OBS Desktop audio while I have the headset set as default. I'm not sure how to make it work at all times.
To be clear, I'm using the headset for audio listening only. This is on Windows 10.
