Audio capture records sound, but I can not hear. Pulling my hair out trying to fix...

I am trying to start streaming. Using an HDMI video capture card with a PS3. It had been working, I made test recordings and I could hear sound through laptop speakers. Now, no speaker sound, I see the audio mixer moving, and a test recording has game sound. Speakers work everywhere else

I have searched the internet for this problem, and have found quite a few posts with the same issue, but the replies are all over the place, and everything I have tried, or tried to try, is not working. I have reinstalled. I feel like it is something simple but I am so frustrated trying to figure it out.

I figured it out... I should have been search how to turn monitoring on. In case anyone else has same problem. Audio mixer advanced properties. turn on the monitoring.
