i'm having issues capturing game audio in stream and recording. I'm using a Scarlett Solo interface for mic recording and I have desktop audio set to capture through the Scarlett as well.

then you need to get that signal from the interface back to your pc select that as source in audio like the mic signal and done

So select desktop audio as output, instead of the interface?

if you wan't so record the MIC sound you need to select the source where the signal is

With the game sound its the same you need to select the source where the game sound is
