Question / Help Audio Breaks

Whenever I open up OBS Studio the audio on a game starts to have breaks in it, like there is a second of fuzz in the audio. This does not happen with my microphone when I watch the stream back, but the audio breaks both on my side and on stream. When OBS is not open everything runs fine.

What type of device is 'Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)'? Realtek onboard? Something else?

Does the problem affect both speakers and mic?

Does the problem happen with OBS open even if you aren't streaming or recording?

The device is just my Astro A40 headphones, the problem is only with headphones mic is fine. The problem happens once I open OBS, so without streaming it messes up.

Does the problem still happen if you remove the webcam? Sounds like USB controller overload.

When I removed the webcam it fixed the audio issue, but is there a way to use the webcam too?

Lower the webcam's resolution and/or move it to a different USB port. Get USBView from https://obsproject.com/downloads/usbview.zip to identify which hubs your devices are connected to. Move bandwidth-hungry devices like webcams and capture cards to separate hubs by switching their USB ports.
