Audio Bit Depth (recording)

I am BRAND NEW to OBS (and not a sophisticated user in this space). I am planning to try OBS for audio/video capture. I am running a Windows Desktop with an external webcam (video) and a pair of SDC mic's through a Focusrite 2i2 Interface for audio. Per Windows audio settings the Focusrite is set for 48khz and 24 bit depth. My Windows Recording Device is the 2i2. OBS Recording Quality (Settings->Output->Recording Quality) is set for lossless. But the output (PCM encoded AVI file) is a 16 bit file rather than 24. How would I go about getting a bit depth of 24? Thanks.

Here's an example. NVENC H265 w/24-bit PCM in a QuickTime Container. I recommend using Matroska until fully vetted with no crashes.

Thanks for the lightning quick responses. I have some things that I need to figure out but this info should move me forward.

YW! When you're ready, take a look at your log after you record with your current settings, it shows the encoder settings. You can duplicate them on the Video Encoder Settings (if any) line to get started with testing.
