Hi, I’m really hoping somebody can shed some light on my issue, I feel like I’m going around in circles trying to work it out! Please excuse the fact that I’m a bit of noob to streaming but would really like to get to the bottom of this as I love OBS’s UI.
Issue:
The Mic & Webcam keep going out of sync. It seems to be that even after I’ve adjusted delays (mic sync offset & async video delay to match each other and Elgato), they drift apart when actively streaming on YouTube.
Even stranger, yesterday I tested everything was in sync a good few hours before streaming and closed OBS. Later on, I opened OBS prior to streaming and the audio and video needed to be adjusted again.
My Setup:
MacBook Pro MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
Elgato Capture HD
Logitech c920 Webcam
Blue Yeti USB Mic
Context:
I’m using OBS to capture retro games consoles (currently Sega Master System) via the window capture, then cropping to a scene to fit. The webcam and mic are included in this scene. I start the stream with an intro video, cut to the game capture screen with audio and camera and then end with an outro video.
Thoughts:
I’ve got a feeling that this is more of an issue with the Logitech c920 Webcam and Blue Yeti as I don’t seem to have an issue capturing game footage and its audio.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Here’s a log from my last stream.
Many thanks!
