Question / Help Audio all bbzzzhhh-y using gopro via Camlink

Hello, thanks for looking at this! I'm getting video and audio from a gopro hero 7 black via elgato camlink (the 1080p60fps one) and the audio has got some kind of static and feedback loop thing going on. it happens when using a lavalier mic into the gopro and when using the gopro's own mic.

there are no such problems when recording on the gorpro itself, it works perfectly.

I've made a short video to demo it (speakers down, it makes a big horrible noise).

update: I tried the same setup, gopro --> camlink --> computer with another, crappier computer - it did exactly the same thing! Here is the log file from that one:

If this is a silly noob problem to post, I'd really appreciate a point in the direction of a guide or what have you, I don't even know what words to search :'-(
