Audacity

Hello. I am new here... I am a singer and I record my vocals in audacity to an imported track, once finished I export the track to emastered for mixing. What I am trying to learn is how to record the video while recording and marry it up once finished. I have no understanding how to do this, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You're asking a whole science.
You need to setup some kind of workflow, a list of things to do from recording to producing a final video.
How to start with OBS, see here: https://obsproject.com/wiki/OBS-Studio-Quickstart
Postprocessing audio can be done with Audacity or many video editors as well.
Postprocessing video can be done with apps called "Video editor". There is a huge number of apps available, from trivial to studio-quality, from free to thousands of Euro.
Merging audio and video is usually done with a video editor.
If you're recording audio and video in separate files, you also need to be able to synchronize them. Remember movie production and the clapperboard at the start of the recording of a scene? Closing the clapperboard and the clap sound is used to synchronize audio and video tracks in postprocessing.

If this is too complex for you, you don't need to record audio and video separately. OBS Studio is able to record audio as well as video.
