Hi All,
Our club have recently purchased a Atem Mini Pro, and a new laptop. And with this setup we have the Atem Mini Pro setup with it using two inputs in use 1 = External Camera & 2 = Second Laptop, the Atem is connected to the OBS laptop via the USB cable supplied. In OBS we have the Atem, with no filters or anything apart from renaming the device in the Sources area.
The issue we are seeing; The video image in OBS is darker than what is showing from the external screen connected to Atem, like it's about 25% to 50% darker. Tonight when looking into this, I clicked on the properties for the Item source and saw the properties page has a preview, and found this preview is at the level we see on the Atem external screen and at what I would consider the correct brightness. You should see in the photo below that I took; the left side preview is showing the darkness of the video we are seeing in the YouTube stream. For example on the left you can see the legs of the model, or even the wall paper of the room.
In this picture our log is much darker, including the background.
I further tested OBS, and presented images we directly from the OBS laptop (not from the Atem) their brightness is exactly as expected with no issues. It appears it how the input is being handled in OBS, like it darkening the image for some reason. I have include settings I have changed if this helps to troubleshoot this issue...
Any assistance would be appreciated, also to note this setup I only have access to once a week (today as I post is this day) so any suggested changes I will have to report back next week / aka 7 days from now..
