Are there known issues for iOS users to watch an OBS stream?

Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to using OBS (on Windows), but I've been hearing about it for a long time. Great piece of software, I love it so far!

Here's the background of my usage and the issues I'm trying to fix.

Background:
For the past 18 months I'm holding a weekly auction, broadcasted live from my friend's warehouse. Initially, he was using his mobile phone and an application called CameraFi. The live video is sent to my CDN, and the stream is delivered to my website where audience come to watch the stream and bid on the items presented on screen. It always worked very well for every users.

A couple of weeks ago we left the mobile application CameraFi and installed OBS on a laptop with an attached webcam, since we needed some of the features offered by OBS (Titles overlay, mainly). The setup was very easy, the stream is very solid, connection is stable, and image is fine. All works good at the broadcaster's end.

The video feed is sent to the same CDN, and forwarded to the same website as before, nothing has changed. But now some users are experiencing connection issues when trying to playback the stream. Some users only, most have no problem at all, but a number of users can't watch the broadcast. It appears most of them are using iOS devices. They could watch the stream when it was originating from the Android mobile app, but they can't watch anymore since we moved to OBS.

I found a workaround for the moment, from my CDN I also forward the video feed to Youtube and schedule a live broadcast. People experiencing issues when watching on the website can go to Youtube and watch from there with no problem at all.

I'm a bit confused about what the issue could be. The only part we changed in the whole setup that was initially working fine is the origin software to broadcast. The CDN settings didn't change, the ingest works fine, the m3u8 file is generated as it should, the embedded HTML player - Clappr - works fine on the website (and was working fine with iOS when origin was coming from CameraFi). The m3u8 playlist sent to the website doesn't work on iOS, but the same m3u8 sent to Youtube works fine with iOS.

Anyone has an idea where the problem could be, or what I should look into?

Thanks for your help!
