Application Audio Capture

Hello friends,
I need help with OBS 30 on Macbook Pro (M1 Pro Max).
When I try to add a new source, I don't see "Capture Application Audio". I can see everything but that application audio isn't listed in the list.

Would someone please enlighten on what might be happening?
Thanks,
C.M.

Another thread asked about that, coming from Windows, and my response was:
Yes, Windows has it, but it's buggy. Lots of threads about it crackling or getting horribly out of sync, etc. I would not consider it ready to use yet. So don't feel bad for not having it at all. It's just not ready yet for Mac's "walled garden that just works".

To get audio from one app to another, the older methods are still bulletproof. Use a loopback, or an additional device that you don't listen to, which works because the operating system creates a loopback for each output device anyway, so you're still technically doing it that way. That's how the Desktop and Audio Output sources work.
