Apple Silicon Compatibility M2 chip

I have just purchased a MacBook Air (2022) with M2 chip. OBS loads fine and shows all the imported scenes OK, but it will not show the open windows in order to use them in a scene. It only shows the OBS windows, the dock image, menubar and status windows. No other open windows are shown. This issue also appears (to a greater degree) in Streamlabs Desktop, so I am guessing it is an issue with Apple Silicon.

Does anybody else have this issue?

When you first launched OBS, did you run through the App Permissions and grant access to screen recording? Mac is particularly picky about app permissions and what is allowed. In your menu bar, click on OBS Studio > "Review app permissions", and make sure you've allowed all 4 permissions it's requesting (Screen Recording, Camera, Microphone, and Accessibility).
