I've got everything plugged in and ready to go.....here's the hardware and here's the problem
PTZ Optics 30X HDMI out to Black Magic Ultra Mini Recorder Via Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 (Apple Adapter) into M1 mini Mac.
Updated all BMD 12.0 Beta Drivers, Re-Booted in Security Mode to allow Less Security and Kernel Management.
Rebooted and went to Security settings and gave Permissions to Black Magic Device.
Applied and Re-Started...Launch OBS ...Still no Device Found in Video settings ??
I've done this Install dozens of times and has always been successful .... but this is the first time with a Apple M1 !
I've talked to Tech Support at Black Magic and followed all software install instructions perfectly.
Should I send back the M1 or re-load an older software version ?
Is Big Sur not a good platform ? Does anybody have this problem and have got it resolved ? The Black Magic Forum has dozens of the same exact problems with these hardware configurations. Thanks for any help. Mark S. Florida / Sound Surgeon
