Anyway to retrieve incomplete video?

I recorded a presentation that showed in the software as 1:36 mins but when I look at the video file it's only 26 minutes. The controls read "Stopping Recording" for a really long time. I clicked on that and then it disappeared. Did that somehow interrupt the download and if so is there any way to retrieve the original capture? Thanks!

Thanks. I did one last week that was close to 3 hrs in length that did fully record because I actually forgot about it and left my computer for a few hours. I think with my slow CPU I have to wait however long it takes to fully convert and I jumped the gun on this one.
