Question / Help Anybody here successfully using UA Apollo/Win 10 with OBS?

I've searched this topic in the forum and there doesn't seem to be any kind of definitive answer. I'm running an Apollo x16 via Thunderbolt (previously via Firewire with the same issue) on Windows 10 Pro 1903 update. It's not an underpowered system as I use it to mix multitrack Pro Tools sessions with a high track count and loads of plugins, as well as using Wavelab with many 32X-256X oversampling plugins loaded.

I'm running OBS V24 using the Apollo WDM drivers but when I try and record either an external mic, or the Apollo's monitoring audio into OBS I get a nasty crackle in the resulting recorded audio. I've experimented and troubleshot with numerous settings to try and resolve this, with no luck, including installing Voicemeeter which also has the crackling as soon as I launch it.

If anyone could point me in the right direction or just confirm that attempting is futile, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks for your time and help!

Hello, do you have found a solution for this issue?
I have the same problems here with my Apollo x8 and Windows 10.
My solution is to route a mirrored output of the apollo via cable back into my docking station until now.
Very ridiculous and huge loss of quality as the cheap input of the docking station has a lot of noise.
Furtermore there is this normally unnecessary daad transformation.

Looking forward for your answer and your current state.
