Question / Help Any way to hide Steam overlay when using Game Capture on DirectX 12 games?

I've been playing Strange Brigade which only supports Vulkan and DirectX 12. Game capture does not seem to work for me on Strange Brigade through Vulkan and I hate having my steam overlay shown in OBS. I think I've confirmed this as an issue on DirectX 12 on Battlefield 1 (not Origins overlay, Steams overlay), Vermintide 2, and Strange Brigade at least. I tried The Division but it crashes every time I try to play in DX12. On BF1 and Vermintide 2 my overlay does not show up when DX12 is turned off.

I think I have a few more games that support dx12 so I will continue checking but I think it's related to DX12.

Log. I wasn't streaming mind you just using OBS preview.

There's sort of a race condition happening that we have no control over. The steam overlay's capture is inconsistent.
