Hey everyone!
I'm running a pretty complex OBS setup for my live streams, and I am trying to find a way to automate changing the Monitoring Device (from Settings -> Audio) through a hotkey or some sort of macro.
Obviously, this is not offered among the standard hotkey options, so:
Is there any way I can do that?
I'm fine with using external software, complicated solutions... basically, I just want to know if this is possible.
(In case you want to know why I need it: I'm mirroring an iPad through an ATEM Mini HDMI switcher, and I need to monitor the device into my speakers to hear its sound, myself. This is essential because I am using it as a musical instrument. But often times, I have guests joining me on stream via Zoom. To use Zoom with them, I need to monitor my mic into my VB-CABLE Output. Right now, if I want the guests to hear me, I can't use my iPad as an instrument, and if I'm using the iPad as an instrument, they can't hear me. I can manually switch the monitoring device from Settings, but it takes too long and I don't physically have a way to use a mouse comfortably from where I'm sitting, surrounded by instruments. Of course, I can just select a different mic input for my Zoom call, but then my guests can't hear the iPad sound.)
