Hello. Wish I'd known that video capture software I bought so I could get rid of my camcorder would not capture metadata. At this point, I don't care if the file-size would be 5T, I wasted two weeks with crap software that filled up a hard drive with captures of only the video. If OBS has the ability to capture metadata from camcorders using mini-dv cassettes, I would really appreciate knowing. The two alternatives offered in the U.S.--Dazzle and Roxio--not only seem to be the same software with different names, they're $60 USD.
