Question / Help any update on macbook crash?

There have been some crashes reported on Macbooks with Core 2 Duos and 9600 GT/8800 GT/GTS 250 GPUs. These are still being investigated.

is there any new news on this?

No update yet. I haven't been able to get around to that bit of code yet. It's still scheduled for next release.

I can't help but feel like all these people with really old GPUs are going to be really disappointed when the crash gets fixed, only for them to discover that their computers are too weak to do real-time video encoding while doing anything worth streaming in the first place.
