Started streaming through the PC, previously did so through the laptop. Having a problem with the Microphone where when a game e.g. Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition starts, the microphone just cuts out. In order to activate the microphone again, I have to go into the properties, select a different microphone, press OK, go into the properties again and select the actual Mic that I want to use.
It's sort of like what happens when you select a different Default Audio device while OBS is already up and running. Except with the Microphone, it keeps happening during game loading screens too. Was streaming Far Cry 5 last night, and every time I get the loading screen, the microphone terminates. So, every time I died, and get that sort of loading screen, I have to go on OBS, and select a different mic, before going back to the mic that I actually want to use.
Tried Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and the microphone cuts off during the Splash screen that shows up from pressing "Play" on Uplay. Not even in the game yet, and the microphone goes out. Somewhat the same as Final Fantasy XV, where the microphone's gone before even the first loading before the main menu shows up.
Other problem I have is Dropped Frames, with the hardware that I have, and my gigabit internet, I'm confused as to why that's happening too. But my main concern right now is the microphone. I don't think it happens when I stream console games through the capture card though.
