Any chance to use a better issue tracker?

I know the project switched to Mantis two years ago. I've given it a try, and compared to Trac, Bugzilla, Redmine, GitHub Issues, JIRA, it's - sorry to say - the worst tracking system I've experienced as a non-core dev.

The design harks back to 1995.

Information layout is terrible. Figuring out the latest on a bug is way harder than it needs to be.

Email reply doesn't work.

I have to create yet another account to post anything.

For perspective, I'm an OSS developer who's made small contributions in hundreds of projects on GitHub (@dandv). Mantis sucks.

I don't really disagree -- I think even mantis realizes that they need to improve. I'm sorry about the troubles. I'll see if anything can be done.
