ANNO 1800 DirectX 12 gives black screen

I am running into a strange issue that I googled but only found some old threads with no solutions. I am trying to stream ANNO 1800 while running it in DX12 but OBS just shows a black screen in Game Capture or Window Capture. if I do a screen capture, it works fine. Anything I can try to fix this?
