Hello,
I've download the Animated Lower Thirds v.1.6 zip archive and extracted the contents to a local folder. In a multi-user desktop environment, OBS is at /usr/bin/obs. Where should I place the Animated-Lower-Thirds sub-folder? Presumably, I'll have to use elevated privileges to transfer the folder so that all users on the desktop will have access to this add-on under OBS? As you can well imagine from my question, I'm a newbie at this and all the videos & docs that I've browsed offer only Windows examples.
I did notice some answers on using the add-on under Linux but it was never clear to me on the precise name of the folder since the published examples illustrated Windows installation (which BTW are quite clear!). A basic find/grep without elevated privileges indicated that the following folders are present:
/usr/include/obs/
/usr/share/obs/obs-studio/
/usr/share/obs/obs-plugins/
/usr/share/obs/libobs/
Since I have never installed any OBS add-on, your guidance will be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.
Kind regards.
OS: Ubuntu 21.04 x86_64
Kernel: 5.11.0-31-generic
Shell: bash 5.1.4
Desktop Environment: GNOME 3.38.4
WM: Mutter(?)
OBS: 26.1.2+dfsg1-1 (linux)
