Please post a log from a session where this error occurs. Describe what you were doing when the error occurred. Include a screenshot of the error if it's a popup. Please also don't post in CAPS - it's the Internet equivalent of yelling.

The error happens literally at completely random moments. But when it happens, it will stay there for days on end. Ive tried everything you can possibly think of and it hasnt worked at all! (I used CAPS because I was yelling because nobody has actually posted a solution to the problem!)

09:07:44.652: Loading up D3D11 on adapter Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 (0)
09:07:44.704: D3D11 loaded sucessfully, feature level used: 41216
Your Intel graphics adapter does not support DirectX 11, which OBS Studio requires to run. You need to force OBS Studio to run on your Nvidia card.

Ok...and how do I even do that?? (Note; i doubt it is that as i have recorded before perfectly fine without the need for forcing it to run on anything)

Another thing, how do you even open OBS anymore?? I thought the update was supposed to be better but its not. I still get errors when trying to open OBS. Ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting my laptop, everything and still no result.

OBS will soon be officially the WORST RECORDING SOFTWARE!

Generally, you can force OBS to run on the Nvidia card with the NVIDIA Control Panel. See here for details. If you were able to record before, then I'd guess that you were lucky enough to have OBS load on the Nvidia card by coincidence during those sessions.

If you're having issues opening OBS Studio, then that suggests a different problem entirely. Please post logs for those sessions (logs are automatically created in the background).
