An unspecified error occurred while recording

So until today when I downloaded new version of OBS I was fine with recording and all that. But today, after installing new version I get this message no matter what settings I use or game I try to record. Any help would be much appreciated.

Same problem here with 0.15.4 running on Fedora 24.

The log files of two different attempts are at https://gist.github.com/giacecco/47f2c1e8603c417c9f0ed34534679994 . It appears to refer to an ffmpeg problem. full version information in the Gist, too.

The folder saving is attempted to exists and belongs to the current user. Streaming works ok, there are other problems there (the laptop becomes occasionally unresponsive).

So is there any alternative software to OBS. I think OBS doesn't give a sh*t about our problem.
