"An encoding error occurred while recording" (NOT NVIDIA DRIVERS)

I recently got an error message ("An encoder error has occured while recording") which happend when I recently updated OBS. Before updating, I never run into this issue (I'm recording on a laptop with an Intel CPU and GPU, if anyone wants to know).

Also this thread is for people who are NOT having errors like this that are related to a nvidia driver.
